Intertape Polymer Group unveils new AUTO H2O Uniform Semi-Automatic Water-Activated Case Sealer

Intertape Polymer Group Inc. (“IPG” or the "Company"), a leading manufacturer of industrial tapes and films, has added a new uniform semi-automatic water-activated case sealer, called the AUTO H2O, to its line of Interpack brand complementary packaging systems.

“In a manufacturing environment, automation with water-activated tape has always been a challenge,” stated Joy Scott, Machinery Product Manager. “Speedy, yet secure, case closure can now be accomplished with the introduction of IPG’s new AUTO H2O– a compact, uniform semi-automatic water-activated tape machine.”

It is widely acknowledged that a case sealed with water-activated tape has the most secure closure. Due to changes in the corrugate industry, the need for a bond that will stick to high-recycled content corrugate to provide a more secure closure has created a demand for an automated water-activated case sealer.

“IPG designed a patented technology providing a reliable and low maintenance sealing system for reinforced water-activated tape that welds securely to corrugate boxes,” explained James Apap Bologna, VP Corporate Marketing. “Focused on addressing previously unfulfilled needs of the market, the AUTO H2O delivers economical security, speed and reliability to production lines like never before.”
