Shorr served as Chairman of Shorr Packaging Corporation for many years.
The firm, headquartered in Aurora, IL since 1945, rose to national
prominence under the leadership of Ken and his brother, Robert. Ken
Shorr will be remembered by family, friends and business associates for
his kindness, good humor and firm but gentle leadership.
He was born on January 25, 1931 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late
Nathan and Esther Shorr.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, whom he
married in 1954; children; grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held later in the month.
