With a response time of 50 µs, wenglor sensors’ (Springfield, OH) 2 new laser fork sensors can register 10ꯠ objects/sec. A fine, non divergent laser beam is said to assure uniform precision over the entire fork opening at a 5 micrometers resolution.

Its differentiated teach-in technology allows alignment of the sensor to various objects, including clear materials like glass. Both sensors are available in widths of 30 mm and 80 mm.
