Microscan (Renton, WA) has published a brochure on its line of fixed mount, hands-free bar code readers. The MS-880 is an adaptable, multipurpose scanner designed for industrial automation.

It features wireless programming, autofocus, Windows-based software, linear and 2-D code reading, and multiple protocol options. The MS-820 is said to read small, high-density symbols effectively from 10” to 12”. Suitable for electronics circuit board applications.
