New inductive proximity switches from efector (Exton, PA) provide extended sensing ranges for applications where limitations in space require a small sensor.

Switches are available with 8-, 12-, 18- or 30-mm dia with sensing ranges of 2, 4, 8 and 15 mm in flush mountable designs and 4, 7, 12 and 22 mm in nonflush mountable configurations. Provides increases of 45 to 100%, says the company.
