Pharma Tech Industries Names Preston Wright to Senior Quality Director Position

Pharma Tech Industries (PTI), the largest pharmaceutical contract manufacturer and packager of powder products in the world, has hired long-time quality professional Preston Wright as its new Senior Director of Quality.

In this role, Mr. Wright will direct all aspects of PTI's Corporate Quality System - including Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Quality Operations - at the company's two contract manufacturing plant locations in Royston, Georgia and Union, Missouri, respectively.

Mr. Wright's responsibilities will include designing and executing corporate-level quality policies and procedures, as well as implementing continuous quality improvement plans consistent with a multifaceted manufacturing environment - one that includes the manufacture and packaging of Rx, OTC, medical device, cosmetic and consumer disposables.

Mr. Wright brings more than 35 years of experience with him to Pharma Tech Industries, including more than two decades in a managerial role. His distinguished background includes Quality Services Director positions at Morton Group Pharmaceuticals in Morton Grove, Illinois, and ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Gulfport, Mississippi, as well as an Associate Director of Quality Services role with ELAN Holdings in Gainesville, Georgia.
Mr. Wright's accomplishments have twice earned him the prestigious President's Award for Technical Achievement in Analytical Technology.

Mr. Wright earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. He currently resides in Gainesville, Georgia with his wife, Peggy, and son, Paul.
