Biggs Early Childhood Center in Covington, KY, to its office and put them to work. The Biggs Center is a pre-school where disadvantaged kids learn through hands-on, innovative education techniques. The students learned how a jar of peanut butter is packaged and were then given blank paper and creative license to design their own jar. Ben Sauer, the leader of LPK’s creative seminars, says it’s often good to encourage children to think outside the lines. “It’s important to stress that it’s okay to be creative,” he says. “It’s okay to express yourself.”
