Designed for seamless integration into food processing and packaging lines, the Mettler-Toledo Safeline PowerPhasePRO GC digital metal detector provides one-pass auto product setup that requires only five seconds when a new product is introduced, and runs multiple product settings simultaneously. The touchscreen has a 5.7-in. high visibility display that incorporates wide-angle system condition monitoring that allows it to be viewed from up to 12 ft away.

Fully Ethernet-enabled for bi-directional communication, the unit offers real-time remote control and the ability to upload analytical reporting data. It also can connect to customer-specific SCADA applications using ActiveX controls.

“The PowerPhase Pro GC metal detector was globally designed by engineers and service people, and features cleanability, accessibility, and sloped surfaces,” says Oscar Jetter, national sales manager for Mettler Toledo. The equipment works with all the company's existing installations and provides tool-less changeover, he adds.
