The Candy Bar Lounge, The Beverage Cooler Lounge and The Snack Break Lounge will return to PACK EXPO International 2018.

The Candy Bar Lounge, The Beverage Cooler Lounge and The Snack Break Lounge will return to PACK EXPO International 2018 (McCormick Place, Chicago; Oct. 14–17) and co-located Healthcare Packaging EXPO, according to show producer PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.

Hosted by The National Confectioners Association (NCA) and sponsored by Robert Bosch Confectionary Technology (S-3514), The Candy Bar Lounge (S-2583) will serve as a networking destination for confectionery industry experts and their customers.

The International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT) will host The Beverage Cooler Lounge (N-4575), sponsored by Bevcorp, LLC (S-3874), serving as a networking hub for beverage industry professionals and ISBT subject matter experts.

PACK EXPO attendees can also utilize The Snack Break Lounge (N-4565), hosted for the first time by SNAC International and co-sponsored by Dorner Manufacturing Corporation (N-4936), JLS Automation (N-5342) and Soft Robotics, Inc. (E-7207). This networking lounge will serve as the central meeting place and information center for snack industry professionals at the show.

“One of the added benefits of attending the show is the opportunity to network and meet likeminded industry professionals. Through these lounges, we are able to add value by connecting OEM’s and CPG’s with those specifically in their markets,” says Laura Thompson, senior director of expositions, PMMI. “We look forward to maintaining our established alliances with these premier industry associations in order to continue bringing the industry together and ultimately effecting growth in the packaging sector as a whole.”

This year’s PACK EXPO International and the co-located Healthcare Packaging EXPO will bring together 2,500 exhibitors showcasing their packaging innovations to 50,000 attendees in over 1.2 million net square feet of exhibit space.
