Adrianus Claessens. Application Engineer at BW Flexible Systems: Good morning. My name's Adrianus Claessens, Application Engineer at BW Flexible Systems. We are here interpack 2023 in Dusseldorf, Germany at the BW stand in front of our Hayssen 410 ISB machine. This is a continuous motion machine which gives you the ability to run a little bit higher speed. This machine is also available as an intermittent machine for various applications, various markets, various industries, things like that.

So what we're trying to achieve here for one is a very hygienic machine. So all slope surfaces, no hollow tubing, all standoff, so less hard points and easier to clean, better cleanability, uh, space out cables and hoses so that, uh, you can wash down and less harborage points in between there. With the big doors, we have a very good accessibility to the entire machine. The back seal can swing out so we have full access to the forming tube, and even the forming tube can swing out for changeover so you're not standing on front of the typical takeaway conveyor at the front of the machine. We go to the side.

Again, we have very good access into the machine you can even reach into to work on certain components, uh, maintenance, things like that, and cleaning.

If we continue to come around the back, we have a motor driven unwind so we can run very large and heavy rolls and stay in control of the film. We have an auxiliary enclosure that allows us to put the printer controller in there, a gas flush unit, and keep those things out of the weather out of the cleanability area.

And then another nice feature we can swing out the electrical cabinet. So again, to fully take advantage of that. Accessibility in the inside of the machine for service and cleanability.
