OPP Film, S.A.: Expanded film line

Opp Film will offer high-speed, 8.7 meter-wide polyester bi-oriented (BOPET) film with special treatments, metalized and favorable heat-sealing characteristics starting in early 2013, expanding its line to include BOPP, CPP, and BOPET films.

The company also recently started two new BOPP lines, and will start its newest cast film line in July 2012.  These offerings increase and complement the current product portfolio and allow customers to purchase BOPP, CPP and BOPET films, in the quantities they want, with the customization they want from just one source.

Available in one to three layers, thicknesses range from 15 to 50 microns for the BOPP products and 18 to 150 microns for CPP film.  Secondary operations include slitting and metalizing capacity of 30,000 metric tons. Opp Film manufacturing plants are certified by the American Institute of Bakery (AIB), and by the SGS Company, and are periodically inspected by several independent laboratories and quality assurance agencies.
