Klockner Pentaplast: Static-control films

The Pentastat® product line of electrostatic discharge (ESD) packaging films has been extended to include Pentastat® WHMS-10 black conductive styrenic alloy film for difficult packaging applications of static-sensitive electronics.

Used in an array of carrier tape, tray, and disk drive applications, films provide increased melt strength for easier thermoforming while maintaining excellent ESD properties independent of relative humidity. Films are engineered to offer surface uniformity for easy processing, as well as superior performance and physical protection of packaged product. Recyclable films are cost-effective and also feature superior gauge control and low outgassing and corrosivity.
