Country Inn Specialties, an 18-oz. gourmet-style cereal, reached full national distribution in April.

While the company declined to answer any questions about suppliers or materials, the packaging is believed to be supplied by Bagcraft (Chicago, IL). The pack actually consists of an inner, removable paper pouch within the flat-bottom outer bag. On the inside surface of the outer bag is a clear, plastic ply that likely acts as a barrier. The inner pouch also appears to contain an inside barrier, in the form of a clear plastic coating. Reclosability is provided by a standard tin-tie. The bags carry a suggested retail price of $4.49.
