Indian company invests to compete in flexible packaging sector...

Cosmo Films, an Indian plastic packaging manufacturer, has expanded its manufacturing facilities in Baroda, in order to set the stage to compete globally in the BOPP films sector.

Noting the downward trend of BOPP manufacturing in the US, Europe, and Japan, and the low production base of Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Cosmo sees India as a major player in the BOPP sector in the near future.
