In India, new Food Act governs package labeling...

Starting in late August, India's Food Act will mandate that any product that emphasizes a new ingredient in words, pictures, or graphics on its label must state the percentage of that ingredient in the product.

This could cause trouble for small and medium-size food processors. Additionally, nutritional labeling, including percentage of protein, fat, carbs, and vitamins and minerals must also appear on labels.
