Hitachi: Low-waste ink jet coders

Hitachi is quickly becoming the go-to marking and coding solution, thanks to unparalleled reliability, efficiency, and ease of use; the UX Series product line incorporates the same proven low-pressure, ink return system used in previous Hitachi series printers that “pulsates” the ink stream, effectively reducing air mixing with ink, minimizing solvent evaporation and significantly reducing running costs.

The UX goes even further by adding a new cartridge-type system, making ink replacement clean and simple and eliminating the need to pour fluids. The ink and make-up cartridges can be used right up to the last drop of fluid. The result is less waste and the elimination of costly separate disposal requirements for cartridges.

The UX Series printers are available in two models and can print up to six lines. UX printers incorporate an improved, modern user interface with a full 10.4 in. color touchscreen panel. Panel comes complete with icon-based graphics indicating ink levels and signaling when to replace the cartridges. Ethernet connectivity is standard, enabling printers to be easily networked.
