Hitachi America, Ltd. announces the UX Series continuous ink jet printer, incorporating the same low-pressure ink return system that “pulsates” the ink stream, effectively reducing air mixing with ink, minimizing solvent evaporation and significantly reducing running costs.

The UX adds a new cartridge-type system, making ink replacement clean and simple, and eliminates the need to pour fluids. The ink and make-up cartridges can be used right up until the last drop of fluid. The result is less waste and the elimination of costly separate disposal requirements for cartridges.
