MSU plans perishables seminar

The School of Packaging of Michigan State University is offering a seminar entitled, “Packaging & Distribution of Perishables,” July 14 - 15 at the Monterey Marriott Hotel in Monterey, CA.

The seminar will cover state-of-the-art methods, materials, and applications involving fresh produce, meat and seafood, and floral items. Topics for seminar presentations will include display-ready packaging, case coding, supply chain issues, the regulatory climate, “high-performance” films, and labeling. Sessions will begin at 8 a.m. July 14 and conclude at 5 p.m. July 15. Seminar fee: $975.
