Full-color label printer

The QuickLabel Systems Div. of Astro-Med introduces its full-color, digital label, tag, sign, and pouch printer for in-house use.

The QLS-8100 Xe prints full-color labels to 8.3” in width and up to 60” in length at speeds to 5”/sec. Printer, used for both small or large quantities, prints directly from a PC and requires no plates or other make-ready materials. All data is processed rapidly by a high-end embedded microcontroller, giving the printer the capacity to instantly print variable information labels in true production speed and volume with photorealistic graphics, illustrations, text, barcodes, and database-linked information, company says.
