SICK, Inc: Laser fork sensors

SICK’s WFL Laser Fork Sensors use Class I, low-power lasers measuring 0.05 mm wide for precise detection of small targets.

In addition, the sensor’s laser light spot is visible to the human eye, enabling simple and quick setup. High switching frequencies of 10 kHz ensure reliable performance in high-speed operations. Applications include label detection, the detection of needles in the medical/pharmaceutical markets, precise positioning of a robot arm, and detecting the position of a piston. More than 20 models provide a wide variety of widths and depths.
