Products utilize a NEMA size 14 brushless 1.8° stepping motor and measure 1.9-in. x 1.4-in.x 2.0-in. (48x36x52mm)--ideal where space is limited. The MDrive14Plus Half/Full Step is suitable for basic applications requiring no more than half and full step. The MDrive14Plus Microstepping is capable of full (256 x 200) microstepping. Features include +12 to +48 VDC supply input, choice of internal magnetic or external optical encoders with multiple line counts and index mark, and an extended operating range of –40° to +85°C. Oversized input capacitors are used to minimize power line surges. Smoothness is achieved through advanced 2nd generation current control. By applying innovative techniques to control current flow through the motor, resonance is significantly dampened over the entire speed range and audible noise reduced.
