AutomationDirect has launched DirectSOFT5 PLC programming software, a 32-bit Windows®-certified tool for the entire DirectLOGIC line of PLCs. The most significant of the software’s new features to improve ladder logic programming is the addition of “IBoxes,” modularized instructions that perform simple to complex ladder logic.
