The Nexus programmable limit switch, from Advanced Micro Controls (Terryville, CT), is a high-speed resolver-based PLS with up to 16 outputs that comes with a ControlNet interface.

Can network with most of the new and existing Allen-Bradley PLC-5, SLC/500 and Logix PLCs. Other networks are planned, too. Extensive software capabilities can be used for a variety of packaging machine applications.
