Ranpak (Concord Township, OH) is offering its PadPak® converter with the Packaging Automated Logistics (PAL) System(TM). The PAL System's database of user-specified packing information allows the operator to assign and recall a number for each product.

Then PadPak produces rolled/crimped multi-ply kraft paper pads in the correct size and sequence for packing that product. The PAL System also tracks progress and prints reports, monitors inventories of materials and generates reorders to suppliers.
