Compact at only 103/4" wide, the digital six-pulse DCS 400 Smart Drive from ABB (New Berlin, WI) is available as a non-regenerative or regenerative unit.

This drive covers a 5 to 500 hp range, with input voltages of 230 to 500 v at 50/60 Hz and an output current range of 20 to 820 amps. Startup takes only 15 min. The DCS 400 is suitable for any standard low-hp DC motor control or retrofit installation.
