MG Industries (Malvern, PA) has developed a Liquid Nitrogen Injector® for the noncarbonated beverage industry. It offers low-cost pressurization to cans and bottles without tainting beverage taste or character, says the company.

Liquid nitrogen is injected directly into containers after filling and before sealing. After sealing, the nitrogen vaporizes, creating internal pressure and rendering containers rigid and stackable.
