2-color LED indicators that provide at-a-glance status indication at the guard door for quick adjustments, as necessary. An auxiliary contact also allows for remote status identification. The D40A switch can be mounted to accept the actuator on the left or right side without having to change the location of the cable. The D40A controller may be used to monitor D40A non-contact switches and tongue- or key-actuated switches, and it is said to reduce costs by allowing as many as 30 switches to connect to a single controller.
