Printers use Matthews' proprietary Drop-on-Demand valve ink-jet technology, capable of operating in challenging industrial environments where vibration and dust would otherwise interfere. High-memory printers feature character sizes ranging from ½” to 1 ½” and the ability to print on top or sides of cartons. Controller, printhead, and ink system are integrated in a single compact unit that users simply plug in to use.
