A stepped nozzle plate design allows the print engine to be positioned as close as 0.030" from the substrate, maximizing throw distance and ensuring a crisp mark.
The new printhead is capable of printing up to five lines of text, ranging in size from 0.31" (8 mm) to 1.9" (48 mm). It can also print logos, graphics and bar codes at speeds to 200'/min. Prints the UCC/EAN ITF-14 Shipping Container Code at magnifications from 0.625 to 1.0.
