Dave Canfield, Founder and Chairman of CCB Packaging, passed away at 88 years old from a sudden illness on July 11, 2024. Dave was involved in the packaging industry for over 50 years, starting as a Sales Representative for Downing Box/Longview Fiber, then as Vice President and co-owner of Distinctive Packaging & Assemblers Incorporated, and lastly founding CCB Packaging in 1988, where he remained as Chairman until his passing.

His son Brad Canfield, who is co-owner, President and CEO of CCB Packaging, credited his father with the vision and drive in taking CCB from a small hand assembly co-packer at its inception to the industry leader in fully automated robotic packaging that CCB is today.

“My father took great pride in the fact that CCB was started as a small, family-owned business, with a focus on offering our clients unsurpassed customer service and value while taking great care of our employees as well,” Brad Canfield stated. “'Take care of your people and they will take care of you' was a phrase he lived by and used throughout his career and personal life."

In addition to Brad Canfield, Dave’s grandson Nic Canfield is also involved in the company as Director of Business Development and co-owner.
