The Contract Packaging Association (CPA) poses the question: "What risks are you willing to take to succeed in an ever-changing packaging environment?" The association advises its contract packaging members to increase the odds if succeeding by gaining valuable insights.

A "winning edge" theme permeates the agenda for the Contract Packaging Association (CPA) 2013 Annual Meeting, February 21-24, 2013, at the Waldorf Astoria, Naples, FL (pictured). The agenda is designed with knowledge-building sessions, networking with top executives, and meeting time with suppliers to the contract packaging industry. Among the highlights:
  • Town Hall Meeting with ConAgra Foods and Florida's Natural Growers. This interactive event will foster knowledge on CPG companies' co-packing strategies that enhance efficiency and profitability. Panelists include: ConAgra Foods' Jon Heussner, director of operations/business and Florida's Natural Growers' Mike McGee, senior contract packaging manager. The panel will me moderated by CPA board member and software CEO Jason Tham of Nulogy.
  • Keynote presentation by Steve Baker, vice president of Great Game of Business, Springfield, MO. The presentation promises to impart insights and tools relating to Open-Book Management" and Great Game of Business methods for efficient, profitable business operation and employee involvement. Baker has been lauded as knowledgeable, engaging and someone who does his homework to understand those to whom he presents by executives of organizations including the National Center for Employee Ownership and the Chicago Family Business Council of DePaul University.
