Walmart's Sustainable Packaging Scorecard was introduced at their Sustainable Packaging Conference held during last month's Expo Pack Mexico. The Scorecard grades manufacturers on the "seven Rs of packaging" (remove, reduce, reuse, recycle, renew, revenue and read). The goal of Walmart's Scorecard? To "decrease packaging across Walmart's supply chain by 5% before 2013."
