Sustainable Packaging Forum set

The Sustainable Packaging Forum 2005 will take place October 17-19 at the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia, PA.

The Packaging Strategies event is officially endorsed by the Sustainable Packaging Coalition/GreenBlue. The keynote speaker, William McDonough, principal/co-founder, McDonough + Braungart Design Chemistry, will share his approach to design and commerce that incorporates concern for economic prosperity, social equity, and environmental intelligence.

Presentation topics will include: Measuring Sustainability’s Impact on Enterprise Value in Packaging & Consumer Packaged Goods Companies; Sustainability, Packaging & The Corporate Commitment; Driving Sustainable Packaging Through the Supply Chain: Challenges to Innovation & Market Leadership; the Future for Sustainable Packaging Development, Innovation & Industry Adoption; and Sustainable Packaging Innovations—Materials, Processes, & Services.

Speakers include Jason Pearson, executive director of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition/GreenBlue; Victor Bell, program manager, Environmental Packaging Intl.; and John Delfausse, vice president/package development, Estée Lauder/Aveda.

The event will also include the Sustainable Packaging Materials & Services Expo and Reception where suppliers and service providers will share innovations in sustainable packaging technologies. Sustainable packaging business and service providers will also exhibit. Packaging World is a media partner for this event.
