Butler Automatic: Automatic film splicer runs at speeds up to 450 ft/min

Designed for packaged goods and pharmaceutical shrink sleeve packaging operations, Butler Automatic’s new SP3HSL Series Automatic Film Splicer helps increase line efficiency by eliminating film roll change downtime, and increasing line efficiency by 9% or more according to the company.

SP3HSL Series Automatic Film Splicer

The SP3HSL automatically splices the end of each expiring roll of film onto the new roll, and is capable of running at speeds of up to 450 feet per minute (FPM), the Automatic Sleeve Splicer will be sold both through OEM machine builders for new production lines, and for retro-fit installation on existing packaging lines.
