A-B-C Packaging Machine Corp.: Servo case packer

A new case packer from A-B-C Packaging uses servo motors to control the main case drive, infeed, down stacker and load pusher.

The servo motors provide precise case and product movement and gentle handling throughout the machine, at speeds to 30 cases per minute. PLC operation offers integral synchronization of all moving parts. The packer runs a variety of cartons and semi-rigid containers, and offers motorized size adjustments. The machine occupies 15.4 linear feet on the production line and is constructed of tubular steel and polycarbonate hinges to stand up to the stress of high-speed operation.
