ARPAC debut its ARBOT-LT robotic palletizing cell at PACK EXPO International 2016.
The palletizer includes a multi-axis robot and dual zone vacuum plate gripper to securely handle one or two cases at a time. A "smart" infeed conveyor singulates product for picking and automatic pallet handling, discharges completed pallets, and loads empties.
The palletizer uses Yaskawa Motoman’s Pallet Solver software, which simplifies products set-up and pallet pattern management. For improved safety, a Robotic Functional Safety is included along with a fully interlocked operator door and light curtain.
