Located at 3617 W. Oakwood Road, the new facility is about two miles from Krones’ North American headquarters, 9600 S. 58th Street, and will contain a state-of-the-art automated advanced picking and order fulfillment system as well as offices and conference rooms. This expansion will also open up more manufacturing space at the nearby main campus, which will enable the company to expand local machine building operations. Plans are in place to purchase additional CNC and related equipment to support the manufacturing of more labelers and fully support aftermarket activities locally.

“From a strategic standpoint, the new Logistics Center represents a major step forward for Krones Inc.,” says CEO Holger Beckmann. “Consolidating our operations into one, centralized, automated center allows us to serve our customers’ needs even more efficiently and effectively.”
