Roy Ackerman. VP Research and Development, Rigid Product Solutions - North America, Amcor:

Hi, my name is Roy Ackerman. I'm vice president of the research and development for our rigids division in North America for Amcor.

Jennifer Taylor, Sr. Marketing Manager at Amcor:

And hi, my name is Jennifer Taylor. I'm the senior marketing manager for Closures Bottles and Specialties for Amcor. We are here at PAC Expo in Chicago, and we are so excited to announce that our Deco Fusion tube has won the Technology Excellence Awards for the sustainability category. Roy, will you tell us more about Deco Fusion?

Ackerman:

Sure. The Deco Fusion technology is something we've been developing for a while, but released this year. It kind of combines the best of both our laminate and extruded technologies to where we can get the decoration capabilities of our laminate technology in the flat with flexographic, silk screen, and combinations of foils, but as well get the benefits of a round product where it has nice bounce back and good consumer appeal use after use. As well, we can get up to 100% PCR into this polyethylene package. So very high levels of PCR for satisfying any EPR laws or sustainability goals for our customers.

 Taylor:

And as a marketer, I just love the look of it as well because of the highly detailed decoration that we can achieve as well as multiple different printing processes in line, as Roy has mentioned. So very, very excited to be awarded and recognized at this show for this product that we've all worked so hard on.
