Webinars address the e-commerce revolution

In January, CPA & theInstitute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) co-hosted a live webinar,“A Contract Packaging Playbook to Winning E-Commerce.” With all the buzz about e-commerce, how can a contract packager get into the game? How can a consumer products manufacturer optimize contract packaging services for the best results in e-commerce?

In this webinar, Co-Founder and President-COO of OnPoint2020 Packaging Insights and Consulting Services Matt Dingee discussed how success depends on an effective advisory relationship between co-packer and customer, developed around a sound packaging strategy. OnPoint2020 is a consultancy offering packaging insights and services to growth-minded brands, including advice on strategy, packaging development, and packaging principles for e-commerce.

During the webinar, Dingee spoke to attendees about the importance of understanding the consumer mindsets shaping and evolving e-commerce, provided tips on how to become an e-commerce elite contract packaging partner with strategic services to end users, gave insight on how to embed e-commerce in a brand strategy as an end user and execute the strategy with the right contract packaging partner, and explained how to apply package design to solve e-commerce technical challenges, from both the contract packager and consumer product manufacturer perspectives. For those who missed this informative live webinar, it is free to view for members in the Webinars on Demand section of our website.

In May 2018, CPA will present another e-commerce webinar hosted by The Packaging School, titled, “E-commerce Elevates Holistic Packaging Design.” The e-commerce revolution happened yesterday.
