Adabots

Fallas Automation’s Adabot R700, shown here in a dual robot configuration at PACK EXPO, was designed for maximum flexibility to meet changing marketing trends.

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

The R700 lets the operator change pack patterns through recipe-driven settings, with no mechanical changeovers.  Typically it’s not even necessary to change the vacuum head.

From the operator panel, it is a simple matter to choose A. B, U, or alternating patterns.  A custom pack pattern setup utility lots x-y coordinates of where every pack in the case will be placed.

The Adabot picks up to 60 packages per ‘bot.  Additional ‘bots can then be added to increase throughput. The second robot runs on the same ELAU packaging automation

controller as the first robot, reducing installed cost while maximizing synchronization between the ‘bots.
