WeserGold: Sterilizing/filling/transporting/discharging for aseptic PET juice bottling line

PET bottle exteriors are sterilized with vaporized hydrogen peroxide during a summer test run on a new aseptic bottling line at WeserGold’s plant in Rinteln, Germany.

Just downstream, in an aseptic chamber, 10 bottles at a time are sterilized internally, filled, dosed with liquid nitrogen, then capped, and induction-sealed. The bottles are then transported to the

discharge area of the machine where 10 at a time exit on a conveyor toward downstream functions. The aseptic filler is the Elofill Linear Aseptic 6000 filling machine from Elopak Plastic Systems.
