Xyntek has partnered with Antares’ Serialization Platform enables companies to create standardized serial labels for every global market.

The solution allows organizations to pre-serialize labels in an offline printing environment at high speeds without affecting production line OEE. The serialized label rolls can then be introduced to the existing packaging line labeler for application to bottles or cartons.

Once the serialized label has been applied and associated to the product, it can then continue downstream for aggregation to bundles, cases, and pallets. This minimizes the costs and impact on line downtime and revalidation typically required with online integration projects and allows for a single system to serialize an entire packaging facility.

The Offline Serialization Solution integrates the Web Techniques WT-35VS Tabletop Rewind System with the Antares Tracking System, allowing customers to print, inspect and serialize labels all in one package. The bi-directional rewind system uses tabletop rewinding machinery to produce high quality rolls of serialized labels.

Utilizing the Antares Tracking System hardware and software components, variable serialized information is easily inspected by the vision system for validity and unit uniqueness. The solution complies with 21 CFR Part 11, and seamlessly interfaces with EPCIS and ERP systems for serial number management.

In addition to the main competencies of the WT-35VS system, many additional features and options are included for flexibility, scalability and consistency. Serial numbers can be generated in random, incremental or be imported from external resources like ERP and MES.

The rewinder units can be configured to accommodate different market regulations, printing technologies, and Camera Vision systems. This system comes with the ATS 3.0 software, which features a newly re-designed user interface; making the system extremely intuitive and easy to use for the operators. Features include missing label detection system, logging rewind system, and ability to choose Coreholder Styles and sizes, this small package does it all.
