Effytec USA: Horizontal f/f/s pouch machine

See it at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2015, Booth # C-2625! Effytec USA will display its intermittent motion horizontal f/f/s pouch machine, Model HB 15, shown running with dry or liquid applications for flat, rectangular, and shaped pouches.

Machine features include a stainless steel sanitary design frame, dual reel unwind, auto film splice, parallel sealing, modem for remote support, illuminated rear cabinet with easy access, and a compact footprint of 12 ft. x 5 ft. for pouch sizes from 1.75 in. wide x 2 in. tall up to 6 in. wide x 7 in. tall.

The HB 15 is suited for pieces, powders, granules and liquid applications for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, nutraceutical, medical device, and chemicals—and makes it possible to run at up to 90 ppm in Simplex (or 1 up mode), or up to 180 ppm in Duplex mode (or 2 up mode), depending on the application. It can also make twin sachets connected together with a micro perf, shaped pouches with tear-off spouts, and the unit can be set up for co-packers who need to switch between powder and liquid applications. The HB 15 model can also be converted to run stand-up pouches, zipper, and center top screw-cap applications.
