DVT Corp. (Norcross, GA) introduces color machine-vision sensors: the DVT Legend 542C and 544C SmartImage Sensors. Company says they represent the industry’s first Ethernet-ready vision sensor with color capability.

Supported color formats are RGB, Optical Density, CIE LAB DeltaE, and CIE LCH DeltaEcmc. Uses include finding color defects, finding and measuring print register errors, and monitoring the consistency of color and measuring its variation.
