JLS Automation has named Pete DeSuno as regional sales manager, North Central Region for the U.S. and Canada. He will report to Mike Newcome, vice president of Sales.
DeSuno has extensive sales experience in the food automation industry. Most recently, he was a strategic accounts sales manager with Flexco and worked with customers in the meat, cheese, bakery, and confectionary industries. DeSuno was previously the North American sales manager at Tomra Systems and an account manager at Provisur Technologies for its Prepared and Processed Systems Group.
DeSuno has a mechanical engineering degree from Northern Illinois University.
“We are excited to welcome Pete to JLS and expand our team,” says Craig Souser, JLS president and CEO. “His experience with automated food systems and knowledge of the region combined with our existing support resources in the Central region, will allow him to hit the ground running.”
