A new tabletop heat-sealing machine from Packaging Technologies & Inspection (Tuckahoe, NY) has a pneumatic sliding table and is designed for trays and cups as tall as 150 mm (5.9").

Smaller containers can be heat-sealed in clusters. The machine is capable of heat sealing up to 1겨 containers/hr at temperatures to 250°C (482°F) with an adjustable sealing time of 0.1 sec to 9.99 sec. Suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries.
