Mettler Toledo opens new headquarters of the Americas

METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection unveiled its brand new Headquarters of the Americas in Tampa with a two-day Grand Opening July 12-13.​

Distinguished guests and critical partners toured the 267,000 sq ft. state of the art facility learned about the latest innovations in metal detection, x-ray Inspection, checkweighing, vision systems, serialization and track and trace and were provided the opportunity to interact hands-on with equipment.

HEB Vice President of Manufacturing Operations kicked off the second day of the event with keynote presentation on what he dubbed the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Packaging World Publisher Joe Angel moderated a panel discussion with Bryce Burnett, corporate senior program leader, Chick-Fil-A, Inc., Tom Kittle, president Handtmann Inc. & Handtmann Canada Limited and Robert Rogers, senior advisor food safety and regulation, METTLER-TOLEDO Product Inspection. The lively exchange delved into topics ranging from the Internet of Things, Factors Affecting Packaging Trends, OEE, TCO, Data Integrity/Audit Trail, Equipment Safety, Hygienic Design to Choosing The Right Inspection System.

METTLER TOLEDO will serve as the host of PMMI’s 2018 Annual Meeting Nov. 12-14. In addition to thought-provoking business sessions on virtual reality, workforce engagement and succession planning, the meeting includes an in-depth plant tour of METTLER TOLEDO.
