A new cap inspection system monitors potential faults in a packaging line and ensures ideal sealing conditions, says manufacturer Enercon (Menomonee Falls, WI).

The system includes a stalled-bottle detector, missing-foil detector, rejected-bottle counter and a total-bottle counter. A deluxe version includes an automatic start/stop feature, back-up detector and a cocked cap detector.
