It's designed to be smooth, crack-resistant and receptive to process printing. The opaque white paper can be produced with either a matte or calendered finish, and UV coating can be applied.
Clay-coated paper
Clay Coated Natural Kraft (CCNK) paper from Stone Container (Chicago, IL) was developed for industrial and consumer multiwall bags. The clay coating is applied to natural kraft paper, which results in a paper stronger than bleached paper, the company says.
