Nexen Group: Servo motor brakes

New, larger sizes of its Eclipse servo motor brakes are available from Nexen Group (Vadnais Heights, MN). Said to expand line to 8 size groups to fit more than 250 servo motors from 15 motor manufacturers.

High-capacity, spring-engaged brakes are designed to provide positive stopping torque with sufficient holding force to stall a servo motor to improve operating safety and prevent premature brake burnout. Flange-mounted, the brakes mount between the gear box and servo motor.
